Born from investment in agriculture, the city is the headquarters of the company's headquarters

Since 2008, Yes, a company that develops biotechnological solutions for effective, safe and sustainable animal nutrition, celebrates Lucélia's evolution and this year congratulates the city for its 78 years, reaffirming its commitment to the sustainable development of the municipality to build a history Of success.

Over these fourteen years, the company has already invested around R$ 40 million in its headquarters, installed in the municipality, with the construction of production lines for Organic Minerals, Prebiotics, Mycotoxin Adsorbents, Blends and Immunomodulators, in addition to a research center (R&D). The Distribution Center (IBC) facilities were also adapted and modernized.

Currently, Yes generates 200 direct jobs in the city, being 120 in the factory and 80 in the Distribution Center. By hiring outsourced services, it also promotes numerous indirect jobs every month. “We project that at the end of this year our Lucélia Distribution Center will invoice R$ 200 million for Brazil and other 30 countries in which the company is present”, says Leonnardo Lopes Ferreira, Operations Director.

sustainable partnership

Yes' organizational model aims to operate all its production units with sustainability and social development. “Proof of this is that we are the only company in the segment to have the Green Patent that we receive in our industrial process, in addition to the Ecovadis seal. When we build our units close to sugar and ethanol plants, we can benefit from a renewable energy matrix, in addition to using our mineral-rich effluents as fertilizer for the sugarcane fields”, explains Leonnardo.

In the case of Lucélia, the company still has two major incentives; one of them is the solid and long-term partnership with Grupo Salto Botelho Agroenergia, where the industry was built, and the other with Municipal Management in the lease of the former IBC, where the Yes Distribution Center currently operates. By installing itself in cities with fewer inhabitants and far from large centers, the company can contribute more significantly to the socioeconomic development of the micro-region. For Leonnardo, this partnership will still bear much fruit. “Yes always seeks to improve and update its products, investing in research, equipment and people. This commitment directly reflects on Lucélia's development, since, by increasing production, we are able to open up new job opportunities, as well as leverage the municipality's economic index”, he concludes.
