Circular Economy

We work on solutions for animal nutrition under the principles of circular economy, that is, we reincorporate co-products into production processes, reducing the use of natural resources and financial costs. We are a genuinely ESG company, as we use excess cream from the fermentation of Ethanol and Beer production as raw material, in addition to using energy from Biogas from composting and excess steam from sugarcane plants.

Energy

We operate, during the sugarcane harvest period, with energy from renewable sources derived from the burning of bagasse. In addition, we use biogas from compost generated at the plants.

• Through renewable sources (sugarcane), important organic sources of energy and steam, we collaborate with the reduction of damage to the ozone layer;

   

• We have the Green Patent for the production of Organic Minerals, which includes companies that use natural raw materials and environment-friendly technology;

Water

The management of water resources in our facilities is an essential part of our production. We collect from duly authorized sources and encourage the conscious use of water.

Climate changes

It is part of our commitment to fight climate change and protect the ecosystems that sustain agribusiness, collaborating with the future.
Mitigating the effects of emissions is at the heart of our sustainability strategy and drives our transition to a low-carbon economy.
Our Corporate Inventory of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions is updated and audited annually according to the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program. This document accounts for scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.

Reverse logistic

We are concerned with the disposal of our product packaging after use in the recycling chain, and that is why we partnered with the institution New Hope Ecotech and obtained the EuReciclo seal, which is an environmental compensation with the use of reverse logistics.

research and innovation

We believe that innovation is the way to a more sustainable future and essential to promote the efficient use of resources. In this way, we maintain in our structure a Research, Development and Innovation Center that operates in the development of new products based on the circular economy and focused on improving our processes, making them more efficient. Our Technical Department aims to seek applications that present better zootechnical results and that contribute directly and indirectly to the environment.
