What is Glucan Mos?

Glucan Mos is a patented product, just like Golf, it is an exclusive solution from Yes. It is composed of β-glucans and Mos. Although the raw material is the same, yeast, the production process for β-glucans and Mos is different.

We produce Mos and β-glucan separately, then we mix the two products and we have an enzymatic reaction, which makes Mos and β-glucan more available.

Glucan Mos is a toxin adsorbent and a powerful immunostimulator. Mos, on the other hand, is an agglutinator of bad bacteria, such as E.coli and Salmonella, and has a growth-promoting effect.

When combined, they result in agglutination of bad bacteria, immunostimulation and adsorption of mycotoxins, reducing mortality and promoting greater feed conversion.

mos

Mos is a technically important product for feed producers and factories that need to improve efficiency in controlling the E.coli and Salmonella. It's the ideal solution, a proven binder that's already known on the market.

The solution agglutinates type I fimbriae bacteria, which have a sort of harpoon to stick to the intestinal cell wall. As the solution has 99% terminals similar to those on the intestine wall, the bacteria confuses itself and launches its harpoon, being carried along with the fecal bolus and eliminated. With this, it is possible to maintain the population of E.coli and Salmonella at low concentrations.

Microbiota

The use of prebiotics is essential for the multiplication of good bacteria. With their use, the good bacteria grow, gain space and expel the bad ones. The most common good bacteria are those of the Lactobacillus group, there are over 50 species of Lactobacillus that inhabit the intestine and 30 species of bifidobacteria.

Lactobacillus

It's like the gut's cop, it produces bacteriocins, natural antibiotics, and can fight anyone it wants. It also produces organic acids, which influence the immune system and contributes to the production of serotonin, an anti-stress.

Lactobacillus still acidifies the bowel wall, which would be the second line of defense, as the E.coli and the Salmonella like neutral pH. This mucus layer, being produced from butyl acid, is made by bifidobacteria, which is also used to accelerate weight gain.

Through chemical substances, bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus still talk to the nervous system, being the immune system, since 90% of this system is related to the intestine, as it is the gateway for most diseases.

The increase in Lactobacillus and bifidobacteria raises the protective layers of the intestine, preventing enteritis.
