Yeasts are natural raw materials that, due to their composition, provide benefits for animal health and performance. “They are a nutraceutical ingredient and for this reason it is widely used by all species of production and companion animals. The use of yeast biomass can be done in its entirety (active and inactive), or only by part of its components, such as cell walls or extracts”, explains the Technical Director of Yes, Carlos Ronchi.

Among the main advantages of using yeast in animal production is the fact that it adds important benefits to the food, such as: providing an excellent level of crude protein, improving the supply of molecules that have beneficial physiological actions in various systems of the body and providing a high palatability to the food.

Yes's BioSolutions line is indicated for all animal production, increasing resistance and protection against sanitary challenges. “The products also bring benefits to producers: more homogeneous batches and greater resistance to pathogens and parasites, resulting in superior zootechnical performance and optimized production costs”, explains Yes CEO Luciano Roppa.

The line is divided into:

BioYeast: High quality yeast, produced from the fermentation of sugar cane, composed of whole yeast cells Saccharomyces Cerevisiae. BioYeast is a source of crude protein of high biological value, highly palatable (resulting from the presence of glutamic acid). It has excellent digestibility, being an excellent source of B-complex vitamins and a complete ingredient indicated for the nutrition of all species of production and companion animals.

BioHydro: Produced through the disruption of the cell wall by exogenous enzymes, under rigid conditions of temperature and pressure, it is a highly homogeneous product. Its rigorous production process increases the availability of β-glucans and mannans, in addition to the intracellular content (nucleotides, polypeptides, glutamic acid, inositol, proteins and B-complex vitamins).

Among its features, The BioHydro is a source of highly digestible, highly palatable crude protein (due to the greater availability of glutamic acid), a source of nucleotides (precursors of DNA and RNA nucleic acids; important for tissues, bones and cells such as the brain, bone marrow, mucosa intestinal and lymphocytes), in addition to being a rich source of B-complex vitamins, which play important roles in situations of heart damage, nerve changes, gastrointestinal, locomotor and reproductive disorders. The solution acts positively together with the animal's productive and reproductive performance.

BioWall: It is an important source of mannans and β-glucans that play crucial roles in the animal organism. 

Its prebiotic action makes the gastrointestinal environment an unfavorable environment for the growth of pathogenic bacteria.

The MOS present in BioWall binds to pathogenic bacteria such as salmonellas and E.coli, which are excreted, preventing their adhesion to the intestinal epithelium.

As they are polysaccharides composed of glucose units, β-glucans contribute positively to mycotoxin adsorption processes, presenting excellent results in the adsorption of zearalenone, aflatoxins and fumonisins, bringing better responses to the main challenges encountered in the field.

LifeYeast: It acts as a probiotic additive, consisting of a specific strain selected from Saccharomyces cerevisiae destined for animal nutrition, it directly contributes to the balance of the intestinal and ruminal microbiota. Yes' exclusive solution favors the development of beneficial bacteria, significantly improves digestion and the use of nutrients, reducing the risk of lactic acidosis and, in the rumen environment, by decreasing O₂ present, favors the proliferation of beneficial bacteria, mainly increasing the absorption of starch, cellulose and protein. In addition, BioVitality improves animal productive and reproductive performance.

BioFlavour: Composed of intracellular substances from yeast, obtained after cell wall extraction by enzymatic processes. The solution is a source of highly digestible and highly palatable crude protein, due to the presence of glutamate in its composition. As a nucleotide source, the product has beneficial action on energy metabolism, intestinal morphology, optimization of the function of fast-growing tissues, reduction in intestinal disturbances and increased growth rate. It is a source of inositol, a natural growth promoter and B vitamins, which play important roles in situations of heart damage, nerve alterations, gastrointestinal, locomotor and reproductive disorders.
